Storytelling is always better with a little help from puppets to bring the story to life. That was probably what Vincent Anthony, the founder of the Center of Puppetry Arts thought about when heestablished this place in 1978. Located in Midtown, Atlanta’s art district, rental bus visitors can explore areas like performance and education, as well as a trip around the museum for a fun family outing in Atlanta.
An Exciting Performance at the Center
Families visiting Atlanta would have a blast at the annual Family Series shows organized at the Center of Puppetry Arts. This series is a collection of adapted classic stories as well as new works, all performed by the Center’s company in a variety of puppetry styles. Some of the coach bus visitors’ favorites are like the adaptation of The Shoemaker and the Elves in a 1940s Manhattan setting, The Ghastly Dreadfuls’ Compendium of Graveyard Tales and Other Curiosities which is a show specially for Halloween, and Jon Ludwig’s Dinosaurs.
